Project Administrator, Fabrication Services (Calgary)
Dynamysk has an immediate opening for Project Administrator, Fabrication Services in Calgary. This candidate will report directly to the Manager, Fabrication Services
and will have close association with the Finance group at Dynamysk. The PA will be responsible for overseeing all related documentation for our Panel Shop and
Electrical Modular Fabrication Team. The responsibilities include assisting the Manager and the Supervisors of this group relating to quotations, invoicing, material
requisitions, data books, and supporting QA/QC processes.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the group manager and supervisors in preparing quotations
• Completing Material Requisitions for purchase from information received from supervisors
• Preparing invoices for approval by manager and supervisors
• Providing assistance in the ongoing improvements relating to QA/QC systems
• Working closely with Procurement Group to purchase and expedite Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation equipment and materials for the Panel Shop and Module
Fabrication Team
• Working closely with Finance group to ensure all costing and invoicing meets the requirements of our corporate processes
• Assist the group manager and supervisors in cost tracking/controls
• Prepare data books to meet the customer requirements
• Continue to look for process improvements to create a more functional and effective group
• Understand invoicing and manage progress billings depending on contract details
• Reviews and implements new standards/procedures and systems to improve productivity
• Assisting with resume management, recruiting, resourcing and on-boarding of personnel
• Overtime may be required on a “demand” basis to meet the requirements for execution of our deliveries of goods, services and documentation
Qualifications, Skills and Educational Background:
• Extensive experience and knowledge of equipment and materials associated with Control Panel Manufacturing and Electrical Fabrication is mandatory
• Familiarity with project management skills an asset
• 5 to 7 years experience in a similar type of role
• Familiarity with Contract Terms and Conditions
• Excellent organizational skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to produce business correspondence
• High degree of initiative and resourcefulness
• Extensive knowledge in MS Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Work effectively with limited supervision in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and excellent time management skills
